The hours that a coach Driver can work are strictly controlled by law.
The legislation is very complex, but you may find it helpfull to know that a Driver can only drive for a maximum of 4.5 hours. After that period they must take a break for at least 45 minutes. the Driver can then drive for a further 4.5 hours.

The maximum that a Driver can drive is 9 hours in any 24 hour period.
There are a number of exceptions and conditions attached to the regulations so it is always best to check with us if you require clarification on any point. You should note that this legislation applies to all coach companies operating in the European union.
